I have experience playing and teaching in a variety of styles, and working with people of various ages.​

 Inspired by my parents (a school music teacher and a university music professor), I strive in my teaching to meet the musical and educational goals of students while instilling solid fundamentals of cello playing (e.g., posture, bow hold, hand position, tone production), as well as important skills such as dedication, creativity, and self-motivation.
